Velvet is a luxurious, sumptuous, and distinctive fabric. Our robes are made from 100% cotton velvet, lovingly crafted in Hamburg. The exceptionally soft texture of the velvet is achieved through a unique weaving technique followed by careful finishing. As velvet is a high-quality material, it’s essential to take special care of your velvet robe. The lining is made from premium, lightweight 100% cotton with a “silk touch,” providing a delightful sensation against the skin.

In general, the less you send your velvet robe to the dry cleaners, the better. If you just want to refresh it, hanging it outside in the fresh air for a few hours can work wonders. If your velvet robe has dried stains or has accumulated dust, using a garment brush to gently brush the fabric in the direction of the pile is often sufficient to remove dirt. However, if your velvet robe has true stains, it’s best to leave the cleaning to a professional service.

SILK

Silk is the queen of fabrics, as it cools in summer and warms in winter, gently caressing our skin. Moreover, it is remarkably resistant to wrinkles. Thus, silk is one of the finest natural fibres available. Our robes are primarily made from 100% high-quality Chinese mulberry silk, lovingly crafted in Hamburg. Since silk is a premium and extremely delicate material, it’s essential to take special care of your silk robe.

Silk is always delicate. Therefore, please hang your silk robe on a hanger in the shade. Additionally, remember to air it out instead of washing it! Silk does not need to be washed more than once a year, partly because it has a natural protection against dirt and dust. However, if your silk robe does have any stubborn stains, it’s best to entrust the cleaning to a professional service.

Terry cloth

Our premium knitted terry, made from 100% organic cotton, feels exceptionally soft and pleasant against the skin. This softness is attributed to the unique weaving and knitting techniques used, which create a fluffy and gentle texture. High quality also means durability; our knitted terry is robust and resilient against wear and frequent use. Despite its thickness and density, it allows for good air circulation, making it comfortable to wear in both summer and winter. Our high-quality knitted terry offers a perfect combination of comfort, durability, and functionality, ensuring your garments are both comfortable and luxurious.

You can effectively treat individual stains by gently using a mild detergent on the affected area. After treating the stain, it’s best to let it air dry. If your terry house dress needs a general refresh, we recommend taking it to a professional cleaner to preserve its colour, shape, and texture.

Nicky

Our Nicky is made from 100% organic cotton using a special knitting process that ensures its characteristic properties such as exceptional softness, snugness and durability. Nicky fabric consists of fine fibers that provide natural insulation and can therefore retain heat. This makes high-quality nap ideal for colder temperatures and keeps the body warm. Even though noddy is known for its thermal insulation, it is still breathable and allows good air exchange. This prevents the body from overheating and ensures a comfortable fit. High-quality Nicky fabric is generally robust and durable.

Treat stains immediately with a mild detergent and cold water, dabbing gently with a clean cloth. Avoid rubbing or rubbing, as this can damage the fabric.
